Love the look of this. especially how you draw the wolf in the second shot. The painted background in the first shot sells the mood and the second shot's simpler colors keeps the characters readable.

If you are looking for any for of critique, the only thing i'd focus on is the transition between shots. I know this is just a concept, but It might help sell a story (even if there isnt one) if something bridged the transition. By that I just mean something in the first shot to make us think more is going on. Is this peace before the fight, meaning something bad is going to happen, or is it after and he's reflecting on the past, if it's neither, what's an idea that can carry between the two.
If this is a flashback, maybe there could be something parallel , like something catches his attention in the peaceful shot, matching him stare down his opponent in the 2nd. or something reminds him of the fight.
