How does one get into a game jam. Ive been interested in collaborating and doing more projects but i never know how to move forward.
It sounds like it one of thoe things you jut dive into but i'm at a complete loss at how to find people to work with on stuff like that .

I did one earlier this year, it was extremely educational in the process of collaborating smoothly and effectively. I'm a programmer who has a Discord group for scattered talents to collab with eachother. I haven't been active lately though due to personal issues but I'd love to work with you someday and I'd be more than happy to answer any questions you have about this kinda stuff.
